Dennis Livoli

Who is that Random Camp Guy? The man goes by many names. His brothers call him "Wind For Our Sails", for he brings tremendous energy to all that is around him that helps propel us forward.

His birth certificate says Dennis Livoli and that name alone brings a smile to anyone who knows this friend and brother who is a leader in The Key Foundation.

An Eagle Scout from Troop 11 in Billerica, Dennis grew up in Scouting. His most valued memories as a youth are the many summers spent at Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation.

As a staff member he worked several summers in aquatics and eventually became the waterfront director. He also served as the Camp Director for several seasons. With over 15 seasons on Camp Staff Dennis holds a record for any living camp alumni.

An emergency health professional, Dennis recently became a fireman for the Derry Fire Department. He lives in Manchester NH with his wife Stephanie and his famous dog, Fenway. If you guessed that Dennis is an avid Red Sox fan you are correct.

Dennis's devotion to Wah-Tut-Ca is tremendous. Every Sunday during the camp season you will find him helping with the registration and parking. He is a trusted friend, mentor and supporter to many of the camp staff.

Dennis has been a member of the Key Foundation Board of Directors since 2002 and has been active in all of the foundation's programs. He developed "KAMP", Key Foundation Adviser Mentoring Program which has assisted Wah-Tut-Ca's Area Directors build their programs. He was one of the members who designed the Andrew Curry Green Boathouse and swam in two of the Lake Swims.

Of all his accomplishments he is best known for his performances in summer camp promotions shows. Dennis has been in several TKF/FStar Productions that entertain and inform Scouts about summer camp. The last two shows he has been the star playing Random Camp Guy. Now an official super hero Random Camp Guy has been seen by hundreds of Scouts and Family members. What is not an act is Dennis's good humor and enthusiasm for camp.
